２０２２年３月中旬の福岡探鳥 [探鳥]
先日、数年ぶりに福岡へ家族と友人に会いに一泊で出掛けました。
折角なのでカメラも持参、友人に会う前に和白干潟へ向かいました。
冬季は鴨類、春や秋は渡りのシギチで賑わうという彼の地ですが、残念ながら
中途半端な季節とあって、僅かに残る鴨類と鷺を観察。
それでも、一羽だけコチドリを観察することができました。
鴨類はマガモの他に、コガモ。
オカヨシガモとオナガガモも見られました。
周辺には百舌やシロハラ、ツグミも見られました。
再びバスに乗って、大濠公園へ向かいます。
園内で、一番多く見られたのはシロハラ。
ジョウビタキの雌も見られました。
椿に夢中だったヒヨドリ。
数人のCMさんの熱い視線の先に居たのは・・・
今季初のヒレンジャクです。
セイヨウキヅタの実にはシロハラをはじめ多くの野鳥が集まってきます。
シロハラやヒヨドリ、ムクドリがいない隙を狙ってヒレンジャクがやって来ます。
まさか大濠公園でヒレンジャクに出会えるとは思っていなかったので、非常に
嬉しい出会いとなりました。
以前は重たい一眼レフと超望遠レンズで、旅先に持って行くのも一苦労でしたが
ミラーレスにしてからは、携行するハードルが随分下がった気がします。
これからも旅先に持参して野鳥との出会いを期待したいものです。
Bird watching in Fukuoka March 2022
The other day, I went to Fukuoka to see my sister and friends. At that moment, the weather forecast said it would be sunny day, so why don’t carry my camera and telescope lens for birdwatching.
Firstly, I went to Wajiro higata (Wajiro tidal flat), however the middle of March was too early to see migratory wading Bird. There were some ducks and I could see one little ringed plover luckily.
Around the tidal flat, I could see dusky thrush, bull-headed shrike and pale thrush.
Next, I moved to Ohori Koen (Ohori Park) by bus. I knew it was a harsh situation to see many birds this period even this park.
As I expected, winter birds were gone, however I could see pale thrush, daurian redstart.
And then, I found some birdwatchers were standing, they seemed to be waiting something. I was excited to expect seeing the bird...
Where to look the birdwatchers, some Japanese Waxwings were there.
It was a first encounter this season of the bird! I was so impressed because this winter, this bird was hardly to find anywhere in Japan.
Not only the Japanese Waxwing but also other winter birds were not found as usual this season, so having camera to Fukuoka was excellent judgement.
When I used a digital single-lens reflex camera and super-telephoto lens for birdwatching, always hesitated to carry them because of bulky and heavy body.
Now my favorite camera is digital mirrorless SLR, so easy to carry than before.
I would love to take it when I travel to somewhere next time.

福岡は東京より冬鳥が多く残っているようですね。

訪れたのは3月中旬でしたが、確かにシロハラ等の冬鳥は数多く
見掛けました。

そうですね。シギチシーズンはもう少し先ですから。
でも今期関東では中々見る事が困難と思われるレンジャクに
会えたのですから上々の結果ではないでしょうか。

いつかこの干潟で多くのシギチを観察したいものです・・・。
この公園にレンジャクがいると知らずに訪れたので、今回は
かなり嬉しい出会いとなりました。多い時には30羽程いたそうです。
